I'm based in Nanaimo and have an SUV. Offering cheap rides across town or pick up/drop off of things that may fit in older but reliable Ford Escape. Just a dude trying to make extra cash.
Rules (must read)
-In person rides will need some proof of identity prior to any plan agreed (for my own safety)
-Pick up/Drop offs need to fit in an SUV
-Requests need to be described by person reaching out (time needed, distance, locations, space of vehicle needed, etc.)
-Rates depend on time, effort and fuel (I am flexible/reasonable)
-No parties, drinking/smoking, or labor, just quick, handy, cheap rides (my own safety)
-Out of city help requires prior deposit
-Pick up/Delivery requires prior deposit
-Pick up/Deliveries cannot entail me shopping or transporting anything illegal (my own safety)
-Proof of reading the rules: "Boiled Cabbage" (must write in first email!) This is you agreeing to the rules.
-Route stops must be 5 minutes or less or the ride may be cancelled. All personal items must be outside vehicle for any stops. Don't make me drive away please!
-Alterations to prior, agreed upon service may result in cancellation of service or additional fee (if you say you need a ride and I show up and 4 people need a ride; Need help transporting groceries and it takes more than one trip; Need a quick trip but stops and assistance adds an hour. Let's be clear and open about what we need! I would hate to drive away!)
-Driver can end service at any time
Example of service:
-Quick trip from Walmart to the south end? $20
-Need a lift to Parkesville from the hospital? $50
-Forget your cellphone in Duncan and can arrange for me to pick it up/deliver it to Nanaimo? $80
