Very cool and rare late-60s Japanese electric guitar branded “Franken Tone,” likely built by Teisco/Kawai for the Canadian market.
Features:
4 original single-coil pickups
Individual rocker switches (lots of tonal options)
Original chrome pickguard/control plate
Sunburst finish
All electronics working
This is a classic garage rock / surf / lo-fi machine with tons of character. These vintage MIJ guitars are getting harder to find, especially with uncommon branding like this.
