i am currently renting a room with a friend on the north side of Nanaimo, but have recently started a job as a Manager for a government office in Duncan. the commute from the north side is almost an hour, and that is too long in a car for me to legitimize. i am also a painter, and exhibit regularly with my next show in vancouver in january.

i am a single person, i have 2 grown sons that live in Alberta. no pets, i quit smoking 5 years ago.
i am just looking for a space to hang my hat at the end of a full day of living that has decent light and *most* infrastructure in place. i’m used to living rougher, as when i first landed out west, it was on lasqueti. so anything from a small suite to a cabin is cool with me. i am looking to have rent be under the $1400 mark, or have all utilities included. just keeping it simple.
