Thriller (Hobie 33) is back up for sale! March 2026 she was hauled out for rigging improvements and a full survey, available for review following viewing. Upgrades include forestay/mast connection replacement, new main halyard and sheet, two new jib halyards, new lifelines and more. This long time local sailboat has primarily been a cruiser, but she is fast and fun and would be a great boat for club racing or beyond (think R2AK!). The interior is clean, comfortable, and simple and has been fully redone (cushions, electrical, etc). Sail inventory includes main, jib, asymmetrical spinnaker, and storm jib. Thriller was modified to add a sugar scoop by a previous owner and is 36 ft LOA. Outboard is a 2004 Honda 9.9, barely used and very reliable (regular service completed summer 2025). Now conveniently located in Nanaimo with assumable moorage for new owners, Thriller is ready for your summer adventures. Extras including Walker Bay 8 and excellent dehumidifier are negotiable.
