1973 Pacific 40. OAL 42' x beam @ 14'. This is the prototype for Maple Leaf 42. Purchased from Arbutus Yacht Brokers. She is a heavy displacement fiberglass vessel designed to cruise the world. The boat was hauled in July 2024 and new antifouling and zinc anodes were done, The hull is solid. She is a cutter rig center cockpit with excellent sails. Most of the mechanical/electrical is new. The new diesel engine has only 68 hrs on it. A 75 lb Rocna anchor adorns the bow with Lofrans Tigres 1500w windlass. 2 new wireless remotes and bow foot controls. New anchor chain. New 6v Rolls Surrette batteries and new marine cables, New windlass 12v battery and solar charger, Raymarine radar chartplotter.New wind generator with mounting mast not installed yet. The vessel has a lifting keel ,4 ft draft up and 7 ft. down. She was my home for 6 years and now birthed at the beautiful Oyster Bay marina in Ladysmith with assumable moorage. I'm selling her just as I bought her. AS IS WHERE IS. Perhaps time for someone else to assume the mantle of responsibility. I paid $32,000.00 and I've obviously put thousands into her.
